Angie was born in Austin, Texas on the Fourth of July to Henry Maximillian and Gloria Annabelle Seipt. Angie was the first-born child into her family that soon grew to include her brother Henry (Hank) and her sister Frances (Fancy). Angie grew up in Austin until her father, who was a colonel in the US Army, was stationed in the Philippines when Angie was 16. Angie loved her time in the Philippines. She graduated high school from the American School in the Philippines in 1965 and started attending Gonzaga University the next fall. Angie’s father passed away a year later and Angie left Gonzaga to grieve with her family who had relocated to Wenatchee, Washington. On New Years Eve in 1968, Angie met the love of her life and husband of 55 years. After just a few months, she married Carl Stephen Haller on April 6th, 1969. Angie earned her bachelor’s degree in education in 1970 from Central Washington University and started work as an elementary special education teacher in Renton, Washington. After helping her husband Carl complete a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Angie focused all her time and attention to being a dedicated and involved mother to her four children. The family moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee in support of a career opportunity for Carl but eventually relocated to Richland, WA to raise their family. Angie completed a master’s degree in education from Antioch University in 1990 and reentered the workforce focusing on teaching adult literacy. Angie and Carl moved to Arizona in 2007 to enjoy the sun and retirement while being close to family.
Angie was loved and adored by many friends and family who mourn her loss. Her beautiful life and positive energy will forever be cherished in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She is survived by her husband Carl; children Thomas (Alisa), Marnie (Dan), Michael, and Marcie (Josh); sister Fancy; brother Hank (Michelle); and her grandchildren who loved their Grammy (Olive, Carly, Max, and Henry).
