Ashley Justine Thomas

Ashley was a bright, colorful, never-ending firecracker throughout her life. She touched many people's hearts with her charismatic laugh and smile. No matter what she was going through in her own life, she always had time to listen and offer her advice and support.

She had an innocence that allowed her to connect to animals of all shapes and sizes. It was never a shock when she would return home with a tiny snake, a new fish for her aquarium, or was seen nursing an injured tarantula. She raised Frankie: her Harlequin Crested Gecko from a hatchling for the last three years. Her pride and joy is the beautiful Eclectus Parrot, Grover who she helped recover from sickness and injury. He now glows a brilliant green, a testament to her kind heart and gentle touch.

She had a natural ability for acting and fashion. Her hair was never complete without lovley streaks of soft purple. Her outfits and shoes always expressed her vibrant personality. She knew how to dress up and show off for special occasions. Her favorite thing in the world was working at the Halloween Haunted House. She took pride in looking as spooky as possible, her hair, makeup, and clothes the perfect blend of horror and beauty. She delighted in the fact that her area won the award for scariest section numerous times.

Ashley was one of a kind from the day she was born. The first grandbaby in a family that has expanded greatly over the years. She was able to spend her 40th birthday in her favorite place, the Oregon coast, with family she loved. She was able to feel the sand in her fingers, the cool air dance in her hair, and listen to the waves crash amongst the rocks. She always believed in mother earth, the life and energy flowing through the crystals she would collect. She believed in the lessons and truths from her tarot cards. She knew her cosmic truth.
