Burley J. Lane, 83 of Show Low, Arizona passed away January 3, 2023. He was born in Kennett, Mo. the second son of Silas and Loraine Lane on November 11, 1939. He moved to Arizona in 1940 where he considered himself a native to the state. Burley worked for the City of Chandler, received his Associates degree in Accounting and spent time as a hospital bookkeeper, was skilled in multiple trades within construction, but enjoyed the outdoors environment of a heavy equipment operator.
He married the love of his life, Judith Dummermuth, in 1958. Together they had a son, Burley Jr. and a daughter, Melinda. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Janice, brother Charlie, and son Burley Jr. He leaves behind his wife Judy, daughter Melinda (Dan), sister Patricia, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, in Chandler on Monday, January 9th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army White Mountains (Show Low), Arizona.
