Carol was a spunky and feisty lady - and cared a great deal about her family.  She will be greatly missed by them, and those who knew her...

As I looked through the room at the viewing I saw the great legacy Carol left in the world. I am sure she is proud and resting peacefully with a smile on her face watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren carry on her legacy with a caring and loving approach she would have been proud of.

I knew Carol through all of her years working in Estes Drug Store with my mother, back to the old Morenci plaza store. She was like a second mother to me, giving me advice on my life irrespective of my desire for it or not. My sympathies to all the family.

In the six short months that I have cared for Mrs. Rice, I have met a little spitfire full of spunk, a loving family, and a devoted daughter. She was much loved by us at Desert Cove. On her good days she was very charming,funny,and always a lady. My condolences to the family. Of course you will miss her, but take comfort in knowing that she is free of all in this world and in the Loving Arms of our Lord. Sincerely, Ellie

To the family of Carol, My heartfelt sadness at this difficult time in your lives. Carol and my dad Joe Lockwood had such a good and fun relationship. They loved to tease each other. We spent many evenings at the Rice house enjoying their company. I lost my Dad about a year ago and know how you must feel. She was such fun to be around and will be missed.
