

The oldest of four daughters born to William and Mary Chapman in Milwaukee WI.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Niels; Her daughter Kristen Miller and her son Niels; her three grandchildren Noah Miller, Arianna Mikkelsen, and Jacob Miller.
She is also survived by her three sisters Shelley (Carl) Lussmyer, Kristie (Rick) Dilkey, Kim (Ron) Groszkiewicz.
She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Cher was a baptized member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She was active in her faith and served on Church Councils throughout her adult life. She loved to sing and she was an avid choir member.
Cher was a tour guide for the Arizona State Capitol in the 70’s. She later accepted a position as file clerk for what is now OneAZ Credit Union. She was a graduate of the Western Cuna Management School at Pomona College. Cher’s career blossomed at the credit Union and she retired, after 37 years, as the Director of State and University Programs. She was a true success story and was honored to be on a first name basis with Arizona Governors Raul Castro, Bruce Babbit, and Rose Mofford.
Cher loved to travel and her most memorable trip was to Norway, Denmark, and Germany.
