Dale Leroy Collings

A celebration of life for Dale Collings is scheduled for February 1, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Cottonwood Bar and Grille San Tan Ballroom, located at 25630 S Brentwood Dr, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. Dale was born on October 8, 1945 in La Porte, Indiana and passed away on November 6, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona. Dale was an airplane mechanic for the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He took the skills he learned in the military and secured an airline mechanic position with Continental Airlines and then later Alaska Airlines. After 26 years with Alaska Airlines, Dale retired in 2009 as he held the position of Manager of Maintenance. Dale was passionate about his family and his hobbies. Dale enjoyed golfing, bird hunting and classic cars. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; his children Amber Collings, Michael Collings and Brian Collings;his grandchildren Carly Collings, Morgan Collings and Mason.
