Daniel Lee Kelley, affectionately known as "the Professor," passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 46. Daniel was a resident of Tempe, Arizona. Born on December 18, 1978, Daniel was known for his adventurous spirit and love for life.
Daniel received 13 years of education and went on to work as a bank teller. He was passionate about music and drawing, and he had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Daniel cherished spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for animals. His interest in Physics and Science earned him the nickname "the Professor."
He is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Tina Kelley, and father, John Kelley. Daniel also leaves behind his sisters, Kathy Kimminau and Morgan Kelley; brothers, Chris Kelley and Alex Marquez; and step-brothers, Reggie Marquez and Ronnie Marquez.
A memorial service will be held on September 15, 2025, at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, located at 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The urn placement will follow from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, with a reception from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
Daniel's final resting place will be at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery in Chandler.
