Donna Dee Winn

Donna Dee Winn, aged 94, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2018. Donna was born in Celina, Ohio on June 4, 1924. She married Ralph Winn on January 11, 1943 and they were married for 55 years. Donna and Ralph moved to North Dakota in 1946, and lived in cities of Williston, Minot, and Bismarck, becoming active in the Lutheran church in their communities. In 1986 they retired to the Dreamland Villa Retirement Community in Mesa, Arizona, where they joined Victory Lutheran Church. In Mesa, they enjoyed old and new friendships, some travel, and desert landscaping – no more snow shoveling. Donna maintained and enjoyed an independent life for many years after Ralph’s passing, eventually moving into Citadel Assisted Living in Mesa, Arizona.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband (1998), and brothers Thomas and Jerald Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Good and son-in-law Richard Good of Spokane, Washington, and Janis Winn of San Diego, California; nieces and nephews and their families, as well as friends.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Road, Chandler, Arizona, 85248 at a later date.
