Emma 'Eloise' McDonald longtime resident of Casa Grande died Feb 18, 2025, with her longtime friend and caregiver Larry Abbott Jr, by her side as promised to her husband Mac on his deathbed Feb 11, 2006.
Emma Eloise was born to General and Ethel (Conley) Fugate April 23rd 1928 in Louisville Kentucky. She married the love of her life Eugene 'Mac' McDonald Aug 27, 1947 in Kentucky. Their son Steven was born to them Aug 27, 1948 in West Virginia. They moved the family to Casa Grande, AZ in the early 70's where Mac worked in the mines and Eloise worked in banking and specifically Lawyers Title company for over 40 years. They attended Southern Calvary Baptist Church.
Eloise is preceded in death by her husband Eugene and her son Stephen. She is survived by her brother Gavin Fugate (and family) of FL, Larry Abbott Jr, friends, Church fellowship and neighbors.
A graveside service for Eloise will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at External Service Location, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85249.
