He was born on April 3, 1990, son of Michael Laura and Jacqueline (Huckabee) Laura in Southfield, Michigan. He grew up in White Lake, Michigan, and graduated from Lakeland High School in 2008. After high school he attended community college in Arizona, and went on to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. He was employed at Crust Simply Italian Restaurant in Chandler, AZ. He enjoyed motorcycles, mechanics, soccer and anything outdoors.
Erick is survived by his mother, Jackie Laura; father, Michael Laura (Robbie); brothers, Mike Laura Jr. (Alma), Bob Laura (Amie), Brian Laura (Christie), Rick Laura (Ashley), Brian Dziadzio (Kenda); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 3, from 3 to 7pm, at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, followed by Funeral service at 7 pm at Valley of the Sun.
