She will be remembered as a giving, compassionate, and caring person who never said no to anyone who asked for help.
She will greatly be missed by her sons, Frank and Rudy Apalategui, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Elva Gutierrez, many nieces and nephews especially her niece Ofelia Arvizu.
She is preceded in her death by her parents Jose and Concepcion Martinez, sister Dolores Martinez, brothers Hector, Alex and Joe Martinez, husband Bernardo Apalategui and beloved son Ben Apalategui. She loved spending time with friends and family and was proud of her work with St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Salvation Army.
She is under the care of Valley of the Sun.
Memorial mass 11:00 AM, February 16th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chandler, Az.
Interment to follow at Valley of the Sun Cementery.
