Ferrer, loving husband and father of three children, was called by God to come home to
Paradise at the age of 55. Frank Ferrer was born in Pangasinan, Philippines.
He was born into a U.S. Navy family where he was lucky #7 out of 10 children.
He grew up always being outdoors fishing and visiting the Ferrer family fish ponds, a
regular at the beach, swimming in the ocean, running and biking outside, playing basketball,
and farming and caring for animals especially roosters at their home. At 18 years old, he
immigrated to the United States with big American dreams, but never forgetting his humble
beginnings. His first U.S. residence was in California where he met his beloved
darling, who coincidentally moved to the U.S. from the Philippines at the same age.
They had their first child and married in a small, intimate wedding ceremony. He studied Business Management in college and earned an Associate’s Degree in Electronics.
Frank’s strong work ethic, intelligence and education, ambition, passion for learning, positive
spirit, and drive to be the best father and provider kick started his career in the corporate world
with Uniden in the manufacturing and technology industry in Dallas, Texas. He moved his family
to the Lone Star State where he expanded his family with the birth of son and younger daughter.
Career advancements for Frank led to family moves in Georgia and back to
California where he became Vice President of a company he co-founded. Frank’s love for
Filipino culture, food, and the island’s natural, beautiful surroundings led to a family move to
Manila, Philippines. Frank and his family moved back to the
U.S. and has since then lived in Arizona. Throughout his life, he
worked double jobs and overtime hours to provide a loving home, family trips, college education
for three children and much more to provide experiences and opportunities that he did not have
as a child or growing up.
Frank was happily married to his wife and she was his darling and love of his life.
Together they raised three children with love. He always encouraged and initiated family
get-togethers and selflessly worked hard to give his children the world and he did. They shared
a passion for food and he proclaimed to be the luckiest man in the world because his darling
would prepare the best home cooked Filipino meals every day. Some of his favorites included
beef nilaga, turon, lechon, dinuguan, pork adobo, caldereta, sinigang, pakbet, and lumpia. He
truly believed in her - everything she is and all of her talents. He encouraged Alicia to pursue
her passions and interests: cooking, baking, interior design, and home projects. He even helped
her fulfill a dream of hers to open up a restaurant, and he was so proud of her. He stood by her
side no matter what and had a strong admiration for his wife. Frank always told her “You can do
it!” and he knew without a doubt that she could do anything. He complemented her timid, calm
nature and would help be a voice and stand up for her when she couldn’t, and he was her best
advocate. He was instrumental in ensuring that his wife and kids were set up for success and
beyond supported.
Frank’s greatest accomplishments were his children. He was extremely proud of his children,
their biggest supporter, and always there to encourage them every step of the way. His eldest daughter
became the first in the family to obtain a Bachelor’s degree where
she pursued a career in Public Relations and became a PR firm Director, his son earned two
degrees: he followed his dad’s footsteps and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business
Management and an International MBA, and his younger daughter took the healthcare path and
gained a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy - to be the first
Dr. Ferrer of his family. He never missed the opportunities when his kids would get recognized:
geography and spelling bees, poetry contest, academic and sport competitions, award
ceremonies, dance, cheer, gymnastics, musical and play performances, talent shows and so
many more.
Frank Ferrer (Manong, Hermano, Frankie and our #1 Kulit) will always be remembered as
extremely loving and a phenomenal example of a husband, father, son, brother, cousin,
godfather, uncle, friend and mentor. He strived to make the best of every moment - to live in the
present and enjoy the simple things in life. Frank wasn’t impressed or did not place importance
on materialistic things. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed watching football, basketball,
boxing, MMA, and loved music, learning, and cooking. He was a bright light in everyone's life -
full of life and advice for others, always kind, happy and joyful, compassionate, generous,
selfless, loving, always doing the right thing and standing up for what is right, thoughtful, funny,
intelligent, hardworking, strong, courageous, resilient, down to earth, patient, supportive, a
problem solver, reliable, an eternal optimist, and so much more. At 55 years old, Frank inspired
so many people, touched endless hearts, and made an immense, positive impact on numerous
lives and the world. He had a smile and presence that would light up any room. Frank dedicated
his life to serving others - he lived to serve others. He was a leader, had a passion for
teaching others, and strived to always be the best version of himself and inspiring others to do
the same. If you know Frank, you know his iconic smile and as he took his last breath, he made
sure to send us off with that smile one final time. His legacy will undoubtedly live on through
his wife, children, and the many people he's influenced and impacted throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
