Grant Holcomb

Grant Holcomb, age 88, of Florence, Arizona passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. Grant was born in ‎Wapello County, Iowa on April 23,1935. He was a very proud veteran of the Army and a member of Florence Baptist Church.

Grant was married to the love of his life Judith Holcomb for 58 years, and had three kids who he loved more than the world. His daughters Kathryn Holcomb, Kerrie Ornelas along with their families will fondly remember their father. He is also survived by his son Kevin Holcomb along with his family. Grant is also survived by his 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Grant was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Holcomb and Edith Gertrude Holcomb(Thomas), three brothers, and one sister.

He was a very talented man when it came to carpentry and he spent many years working as a carpenter for the Chandler Public School District.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the outstanding care, and they would also like to thank their friends and family for the loving support that has been given through these times.

There will be a memorial service at the Florence Baptist Church to be named at a later date.
