

Bud served honorably in the U.S. Army and served bravely in Vietnam as a Military Police officer. Upon discharge he settled in California after his service. Though Bud was never one to tell war stories, he was very proud of his service and loyal to his country. This is a value he instilled in all of his children as well.
Bud soon married and was blessed with 3 children. He enrolled at Long Beach State University and that is where he met his second wife. They lived in Mission Viejo California for a while, and then moved to Bend, Oregon before settling in Chandler, Arizona.
Bud loved sports and played on numerous Volleyball and Softball teams, was a great water-skier, and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a consummate USC football fan. He loved to travel and was able to go to many places with is favorite being the Eastern Caribbean.
Most importantly Bud was a husband, father and grandfather that loved and cherished his family and friends. He will be remembered for his great smile, his generosity to others, and his devotion to his family.
Bud is survived by his wife, Alison Stover; daughter, Linda Stover; daughter Sheri Stewart; son, Dan Stover; grandchildren: Noah De Bie, Riley Stewart, Samuel Stewart, Grayson Stover, and Kirra Stover; sisters: Nancy Boyd and Dianna Lynn Curry.
