Janet Lee Miller Carver

Janet Lee Carver, 67, best known to family and friends as Nan passed away on August 9, 2012. Nan was the love of my life, my friend, lover and someone who made me a better husband and father. She was a beautiful woman who touched many lives. Our lives together for forty-six years and eight months was a true partnership of love and open communication. She was a compassionate and loving mother to Dean and Devin and was Devin's caregiver for eighteen years. She was a wonderful, loving wife and I will miss her. I would like to share with very one some of the emails I have received from family and friends, I think what they say about Nan, says it all.

I will miss her so much! You truly were a great partner to her through all of this. The love you two shared was obvious.

Let me begin by telling you how sorry I am for your loss. Nan was my friend someone whom I admired. May you find comfort in knowing Nan is in a better place now. I have a special place in my heart for her that I will keep until we meet again. Nan was someone that could make me laugh, cry, and then motivate me all in the same day. I enjoyed spending my nights sitting by her bed and holding her hand. We would spend hours just talking about you and then make plans to watch different TV episodes or to run a marathon together. Nan was a beautiful, beautiful woman who touched many lives. Your life together and love for one another was unremarkable and truly admirable.

I will miss her greatly.

We do not know what is waiting on the other side of life, but like a dog that waits behind the door. He is unafraid to go Thu the door for he is looking forward to being with his master. For death is a door that we must all go Thu to be with are master. So take comfort in knowing that she is with her master in a better place, with no more pain or suffering.

May God bless you with the memory of all the joyful times that you two went Thu together and remove all the bad times.

Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.
