Jennie Hicks, 79, formerly of Millcreek, died June 9, 2013 in Gilbert AZ where she resided for the past 3 years. Born October 12, 1933 in Ambridge, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lucy and Mike Bogosian. Jennie was a resident of Millcreek for over 50 years and for much of that time, she worked as a hygienist in her husband Jack’s dental practice, retiring in 1992. Before moving to Arizona to be closer to her family, Jennie loved hosting the weekly get-togethers with her Westminster Presbyterian Church group. She also loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Food Network, and Fox News. She also enjoyed taking care of her son and daughter-in-law’s dog Buddy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Layne Hicks, and her husband Dr. Jack Hicks. She is survived by her son Todd Hicks and his wife Debbie of Gilbert, AZ, brother Reuben Bogosian (Lorraine) of Glendale, AZ, sister Susan Laughlin of Conway, PA, sister Elizabeth (Pat) Cooney, of Aliquippa , PA, brother-in-law Vince Julian, of Cleveland, OH, and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. There will be no calling hours and burial will be at a private ceremony in Gilbert, AZ.
