Jesse Edward Beene

Jesse Edward "Ed" BEENE, age 76, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Thursday May 3, 2018. Ed was born October 17, 1941 in Enid, Oklahoma. He graduated from Wellington High School in Wichita Kansas in 1959.

A memorial service for Ed will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sun Lakes Chapel for All Faiths, 9240 E Sun Lakes Blvd N, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. A burial will occur at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, Arizona 85248.

A Celebration of Life for Jesse Edward Beene will be held May 10th 3pm-5pm at Snedigar Recreation Center 4500 South Basha Rd Chandler 85248 (480) 782-2641. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided by the family.

Ed is survived by his adult children, Jennifer Zuchowski of Ramsey, MN and Gina Carter of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren Sage Edward (12), Savannah (11), Essence (9), Harper (7), Penelope (3), Haeleigh (7 months), his sisters Annette Myers of Edmond, Oklahoma and Janet Saum of Wichita, Kansas. "Uncle Ed" also left behind Neale Carter and family of Gaithersburg, MD and T-Anna Carter and family of Coolidge, AZ. He is preceded in death by his partner and best friend, Roger Dale Wells of Boise, ID; his parents, Oscar and Florence (Babcock) Beene of Sebastign Co., Arkansas and Jetmore Kansas, respectively; and his sister, Sue Cale of Las Vegas, NV.

He was an established and respected entrepreneur and had a fond love and adoration for animals. Ed will be remembered for his big and loving heart, quick wit and sense of humor, and the undying love he had for his daughters and grandchildren.
