Joseph "Sonny" Vitagliano 79 of Chandler, Arizona passed away on November 9, 2011. Sonny was born in 1932 to Alessio and Mary Vitagliano in Newark, New Jersey. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who love the beach, the outdoor, good food, good friends, and being surrounded by his family. He came to Arizona in 1973 and was employed at Mastercraft Kitchen Cabinets for many years as a salesman. He spent his last years working in Real Estate. Sonny is survived by his wife of 54 years, Josephine, his son David (Jennifer), his daughters, Marie Pera (Ed), and Gina Vitagliano, and his Grandchildren, Adel and Austin Madsen, and Andria and Joseph Vitagliano. Sonny joins his son Alan who passed in 2006. A visitation will be held, Monday, November 14, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, Chandler, Arizona with services to be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Phoenix, Arizona.
