Joseph Zajas - 82,born Feb. 1,1930 in Lackawanna, New York, died Tues., May 29,2012. Survived by daughter Shauna Taylor(George), of Tempe Az. , stepson, Elliott(Butch) Rice of Coeur de Alene Id., son, Larry Zajas, of Watertown, New York, daughter, Pattie Biran of S. Hadley, Mass.,ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He served in the US Navy from 1947 -1952, submarine duty aboard the USS Irex(ss 482). He will be greatly missed by many.
