June A. (Dunn) Basher

June was born on September 8, 1933, in West Grove, Pennsylvania, and was raised in a large and loving family. Throughout her life, she carried a deep faith in God and a servant’s heart, always putting others before herself.

June found her greatest joy in loving and caring for her family. She devoted part of her life to serving others as a nurse’s aide, offering comfort and compassion to those in need. She later worked for the Union Leader newspaper in New Hampshire until her retirement. In her later years, she cherished the blessings of travel and treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

June will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared so freely. Her life was a testament to grace, compassion, and devotion to family.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Basher Meyrick (Tom); and her sons, Edward T. Basher Jr., Michael Basher (Bonnie), Timothy Basher, and James Basher (Paula). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Heather, Janice, Tiffany, Belinda (Derek), Jodi Hayes (Fred), Kyla Basher, Lea Hursky (Henry), Christina Cortright (Austin), Lawrence Basher, Cassandra Basher (Gary), Alexandra Beard (Steven), Collin Basher, Jennifer Basher, and Mark Basher; and her cherished great-grandchildren: Gabriel Hayes, Rayne Hayes, Cash, Evelyn Cortright, Eloise Cortright, Arabella Kenney, Calliope Basher, Atlus Basher, Freya Basher, Persephone Beard, Mathias Beard, and Artemis Beard.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in the promise of eternal life and takes comfort in knowing she now rests in the arms of her Savior.

In accordance with her wishes, June was cremated. Her earthly remains have been placed at Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, Arizona, where she awaits the resurrection and the peace of everlasting life.
