

Lois Marie Bailey Wilds was born into life on February 11, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, and was born into eternal life on January 22, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona. She was the daughter of William Bailey and Dorothy Scheuer Bailey DeWitte. Her father passed away unexpectedly when she was one year old and she was raised by her devoted mother and step-father Alphonse DeWitte. At an early age Lois demonstrated the talent to play the violin and received instruction beginning at the age of seven years and continuing through her school years. She graduated from St. Ambrose High School in Detroit, Michigan. Her love of music followed her throughout her life. Lois enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts among which were ceramics and crochet. She was an animal lover as well – her home was usually shared by one or more pets.
On October 2, 1954 she married the love of her life, Andrew H. Wilds, and was blessed with five children: Michael, Patrick, Kevin, and twins Daniel and Theresa. Lois delighted in five grandchildren: Melissa, Angela, Patrick, Nicole and Danielle, two great-grandchildren: Cecilia and Mariah and was awaiting the arrival of her third great-grandchild later this year.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Andrew H. Wilds, brothers Gerald Bailey and William DeWitte, daughter Theresa Wilds and granddaughter Nicole Wilds.
She is survived by: sons Michael (Debra), Patrick, Kevin (Monica) and Daniel (Ann), grandchildren Melissa (John) Abraham, Angela (Chad) Reeves, Danielle Wilds and Patrick Wilds, and great-grandchildren Cecilia Reeves and Mariah Reeves.
