Marilyn Ann Keane, affectionately known as Mickey, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on November 29, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, Mickey was a spunky individual who touched the lives of many. She will be especially missed by her daughter, Amy Molina.
In her early years, Mickey fondly remembered going to movies with her sister and spending summers at Indian Lake. She later earned her degree and moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her home and never looked back.
Mickey worked in banks and the mortgage industry throughout her career. Although she lived in many cities across the east and west, she always felt that Dayton was her true home.
Known for her fun and witty personality, Mickey enjoyed crossword puzzles, the sunshine, and spending time with those she loved. Her presence brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Molina; son-in-law, Jon Molina; granddaughters, Allie and Maggie Molina; her loyal friend, Cheekies; her sister, Katie McLaughlin; and nephews, Keane and Craig McLaughlin. Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Emmett Keane.
A private celebration of life will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, on March 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Flowers can be sent to the mortuary for the occasion.
