Mary Ann Perry passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Born on May 7, 1941, Mary Ann was a beloved family member, friend, and community member who brightened the lives of those who knew her. Mary Ann was a kind individual with a great sense of humor. Her energy and determination inspired those around her.
Mary Ann built a dynamic career for herself. She worked for many years at Mervyn’s Department store warehouse, fostering close friendships, assisting with a variety of tasks, and impressing management with her hard work and dedication.
A devoted family member, Mary Ann raised two children with her late husband, brought joy to three grandchildren, and nurtured a loving relationship with her great-granddaughter. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family; she created beautiful holiday celebrations, crafted wonderful family dinners, and organized many events that would become cherished memories.
Mary Ann had many interests and hobbies that gave her life joy. She was a gardening enthusiast who spent many hours planting, nourishing, and watching her plants grow. She devoted many hours to finding, trying, and perfecting her collection of recipes, and her beef stew, tuna and rice, and mac are among a few of the recipes that her family members are hoping to perfect in her absence. She also loved to shop, treasuring moments to find new items, explore new stores, and find a great deal.
Mary Ann is survived by her children: Lynnette and Donald, son-in-law: Jay, grandchildren: Shanna, Joseph, and Jeremy, granddaughter-in-law: Alison, great-grandchild: Avalynn, and brother: David. Her final resting place will be at Valley of the Sun mortuary and Cemetery in Chandler. Her services will take place on September 20th at 11am.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and compassion.
