MeiZhen Hou passed away on the morning of February 4th, 2014, peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her husband, KeCheng Zhou, her two daughters, Julia Zhou and Janet Zhou-Wilt, and son-in-law, Jordan Wilt, and many family members in China.
MeiZhen was born on May 1, 1947 in Tianjin, China. She married KeCheng on May 20th, 1974. As their family grew, they lived in Australia and Canada but ended up calling Arizona home. MeiZhen held many jobs through her life but her favorite was being a mother.
Throughout her life, MeiZhen was a thoughtful and caring woman, wife, and mother. She was generous in sharing her experiences with others and loved teaching whenever she got the chance. Her vast knowledge and wisdoms will be extremely missed.
Services will be held on February 12th, 2014 at 11:00am at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona. Arrangements under the direction of Valley of the Sun Mortuary, Chandler, AZ.
