Monica A. Jarvis

Monica A. Jarvis - age 80, of Glendale, AZ and a long-time resident of both Chandler and Phoenix, AZ left her physical body to join her husband, William, son Bill, daughter, Kathy and granddaughter Kory. She was a very dedicated and lifetime member of the Mathew B. Juan Unit 35 of Chandler, American Legion Auxiliary, serving as the State President in 1984-85. Monica was a lover of dogs and an avid "NO KILL" endorser of same. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (John) Jones; son, Steve Jarvis; sister Sonia (Michael) Roberts of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by niece Laura Rockwell, nephews John (Rocky) and Michael Rockwell, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 9:30 - 10:00 AM and attend 10:00 AM Funeral Services BOTH at Valley of the Sun Mortuary Chapel, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Interment and graveside services will follow immediately at Valley of the Sun Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Monica and her family have requested any donations be made to Auxiliary Emergency Fund, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 35, P.O. Box 6058, Chandler, AZ 85246-6058.
