Musa Hanna Jeries Musa

Musa Hanna Jeries Musa was born on June 1, 1940 and passed away on December 13, 2021, at 81 years of age. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, cousin, and friend. He was born in the city of Bethlehem, Palestine. He was married to the love of his life Aziza Kabro Musa in Mosul, Iraq in 1968 and were married for 52 years. Together Musa and Aziza raised three wonderful children; William, Deena, and Ramsey.

While in the Middle East, Musa was a skilled welder working on the pipeline. Musa Musa immigrated to the Phoenix Valley with his wife and first born son in 1972 from Amman, Jordan. After settling in Tempe, Musa worked for SRP prior to opening his own business, Jim’s Shoe Repair in Mesa.

Musa’s passion was the love he had for his family and his devout faith in Jesus Christ. Musa’s home was where his family and friends would gather to enjoy a meal or to engage in conversation over a warm glass of tea. Musa loved his wife deeply and was incredibly proud of his children and of his grandchildren.

Musa is survived by his wife Aziza Kabro Musa; His children William Musa, Deena Musa, and Ramsey Musa; and 6 grandchildren.

A funeral service for Musa will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A reception will occur Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
