He married Sun Hui Kang in 1974 in Seoul, South Korea. Myung moved to Arizona and owned multiple liquor stores including Star, Reddy's Corner, and Ruben's Market. He had a passion for Hi Fi, drinking cold beers, and singing.
Myung is survived by his wife, Sun Hui Kang; son Michael Kang; daughter, Julie Kang; and grandchildren: Remy Yang, Linus Kang, and Miriam Kang.
Services for Myung will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 starting with Visitation at 12:00 PM and Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
