

was always known, was born in Mamont on July 10, 1934, daughter to the late Howard K. Wiester and
Annetta G. Wigle Wiester. She is a graduate of Franklin Regional High School and worked many years in the retail industry, including 25 years at Ferri Foodland in Murrysville. Irene was a lifelong member of Poke Run Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband William Clark, and her two sisters, Edna (James) Hill and Ida Jean (William) Caldwell. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen (John) Monty, of San Tan Valley, AZ, her two sons, Randall L. Clark (Siobhan) and Gerald W. Clark (Nancy), both of Chandler, AZ, as well as her brother, H. Wayne Wiester (Joyce) of Murrysville. She will also be greatly missed by her 3 granddaughters, Kathleen Clark of Columbus, OH, Heather Clark and Emily Clark, both of Mesa, AZ.
Irene spent the last 25 years of her life living in Chandler, AZ, where she was able to enjoy her grandchildren and the sunshine. She met and enjoyed the company of great friends and neighbors. Despite the miles, she was still able to follow her beloved Pittsburgh sports teams.
For safety during Covid, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will occur at Poke Run Presbyterian Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to Poke Run Presbyterian Church.
