Penny will be forever remembered by her husband of 31 years, Felipe Gomez, her daughter, Nellie Gomez and her granddaughter, Melissa, by her mother, Nellie J. Varvel of Tempe, AZ, her sisters, Charlene Reed of Glendale, AZ, Jacquelyn Millan of Mesa, AZ, Nellie Hernandez of Tempe, AZ, her brothers, Clarence Varvel III of Tempe, AZ and Charles Varvel, Jr. of Redlands, CA. Penny will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family and dear friends and business associates.
A Celebration of Penny’s Life will be held at Sun Lakes Chapel, 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. N, Chandler, AZ 85248 on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 am with viewing at 10:00 am. Bob Pogue will be officiating.
