René Diane Burden

Rene’ attended Imperial School’s and graduated in June, 1979. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Lee West in July of 1979, and to this union they have two daughters.

She attended Imperial Valley College, in El Centro, CA., and obtained a Associate’s Degree as a Register Nurse. She was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company, Pioneers Memorial Hospital, Olsten Kimberly Quality Care and Home Choice as a hospice nurse.

She married Michael W. Burden on November 17, 2001 in Brawley, CA., and moved to Maricopa, AZ., where they have made their home since January of 2006. Here she worked for the Jail, in down town Phoenix before she became disabled.

Survivors include her husband, Michael W. Burden of Maricopa, AZ.; Two daughter’s and husband’s, Aimee and Brian Wabby of Gilbert, AZ., Jennifer and Aaron Etzel of Maricopa, AZ. Four precious grandchildren; Alyssa, Emma, Isaac Etzel, and Alexa Wabby. Mother, Norma Bickford Noble, OK; Brother & wife, Dan & Cathy Bickford, Gresham, OR; Sister, Paula Bickford, Noble, OK; Nephew & family, Bobby, Jesse, Avery, Elle, & Porter Bickford, Meridian, ID; Niece & family, Carolyn, C.J., & Brooke Brown, Oregon City, OR. Mother in Law, Virginia Burden & Sister in Law, Peggy & Bob Wilson, Brawley, CA; Nephew Jason, Shawn & Elizabeth Brooking, Minot, ND.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ, Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, 18705 N. John Wayne Parkway, Maricopa, AZ. at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Burial will be at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, Chandler, AZ.
