Robert "Bob" McKeever, lovingly known as Mac to his family, joined his beloved others in heaven on August 5, 2014. Born May 12, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama to Frank and Annie McKeever, he is survived by his son Phil, two grandchildren Amanda and John, his brother Ray, sister Jane and several nieces and nephews. He served in the Air Force during the Korean war and spent the latter days of his military career at Williams Air Force base in Arizona. This is where Bob fell in love with the beauty of the desert. Despite returning to Alabama after his military service was complete where he was married and his son was born, Bob returned to Arizona with his family determined to make the Grand Canyon state his home and he never left again. Bob had a proud 30+ year career with Motorola and remained active with the Motorola retiree group for many years. Bob and his wife Doris of 37 years who preceded him in death lived in Scottsdale, Pine and Cottonwood, Arizona.
