

Stanley Edward Whitfield Jr. went to be with our Lord, January 30, 2016. Stan was born October 1, 1955 in Pensacola, FL to his parents Stanley Sr. and Mary. He was the second child and only boy, out of 5 children. Stan attended Poway High School in Poway, CA.
Stan worked as a union carpenter, for most of his adult life. Cabinetry was his passion. He built beautiful furniture, made to last. His work took him all over the country. His craftsmanship can be found in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington. He also enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to go camping, fishing and ATVing. He was the life of the party. He had a huge heart and if he was able, he would help anyone who needed it.
He is preceded in death by Stanley Edward Whitfield Sr., James Lee Bartlett, and Alan Tarasiewicz.
Stan is survived by his mother Mary Ruth Bartlett (Burnham) of Nevada. His sisters: Barbara (Whitfield) and Frank Worley of Colorado, Debra (Whitfield) and Travis White of Arizona, Patricia (Whitfield) Tarasiewicz of New York, and Marsha (Whitfield) Biava of Nevada. His Children: Stanley Edward Whitfield III (wife Kaci) of Washington, Krista Whitfield of Washington, Susanna (Whitfield) White (husband Jeffrey), Joel (Whitfield) Dunbar of Nevada, and Jesse James Lee Whitfield (wife Tiffany) of Nevada. His Grandchildren: Kimberly, Mckenna, Trevor, Teegan and Memphis.
Stan didn’t want a funeral and has chosen cremation. He loved to tell stories and make people laugh, please feel free to share your stories and photos of him with those who knew him by leaving a comment.
