Born in Caltanissetta on July 8, 1928, one of 9 children. Sylvia went to join her husband Mario Santocono of 44 years on January 3, 2021. She is survived by daughters Josephine Santocono Gilbert in Virginia, Patrice Santocono Clay and Antonette Santocono McDaniel in Minnesota, Maria Santocono Few in Florida and Nancy Santocono. One son, Tony Santocono in Texas. Thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great, great, granddaughter. Joseph Santocono, brother in law in Minnesota and many nieces and nephews.
