Born in Tucson, Arizona, Victoria was raised in both Akron, Ohio and Chandler, Arizona. A woman of warmth and resilience she lived a life filled with compassion, strength, and connection.
Victoria spent her early career as a licensed nurse, caring for others with the same tenderness and goodwill she would later show to her own family. In her later years, she became a deeply committed member of the AA community, where she formed lasting friendships and offered encouragement and support to many along their own journeys.
Above all, Victoria was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She lovingly cared for her daughter Kristina Bowen during her courageous battle with brain cancer — a role she carried with grace and unwavering love. Their bond remains unbroken, and Victoria is now reunited with Kristina in heaven.
She was affectionately known as “Bubba” to her three grandchildren — Jackson, Lucille, and Claire Wiggs — whom she adored, spoiled, and showered with gifts and affection at every opportunity. She also found joy in reading thrillers and mysteries, watching reality television, and shopping — always with her unique flair and sense of humor.
Victoria shared 16 wonderful years with her beloved husband, James Cook, and together they traveled across the United States, making memories in many places — especially in New York and Ohio, where she held fond childhood memories.
She is survived by her husband James, her children Katrina Wiggs (Landon) and Johnathan Cook, and her grandchildren Jackson, Lucille, and Claire. She is also survived by her mother Doris Egnor, step-mother Kathy Campbell, sister Lisa Wylie, brother Robert Campbell III, and step-brother Roy Egnor.
Victoria was preceded in death by her daughter Kristina Bowen, her father Robert Campbell, step-father Larry Egnor, and step-brother Larry Egnor Jr.
She leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends, all of whom will miss her kind heart, quick-wit, and unshakable spirit.
