Virginia “Ginger” Theresa Naquin, age 63 of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away in her sleep at her home early Wednesday, January 25th, 2023. She was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on September 11th, 1959. She graduated from Richardson High School in 1977 and completed some college at Texas Tech University, where she met her late husband, Timothy Lee Naquin. They married on August 28th, 1982, in Dallas, Texas and remained together until his passing in 2013. Ginger worked in retail, marketing, and banking, but above all else was a loving mother of two beautiful daughters. She was a beloved member of many organizations & social groups, including Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the King, Islands Women’s Club, and several in the Sun Lakes neighborhood. At her prime, she loved to bowl, play trivia, watch football, play scrabble (to the last tile), play canasta & bunco with friends, support her daughters in Girl Scouts, and to bake. She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa Nicole Naquin and Megan Leigh Naquin, and older brother, Gregory Scott Nuessle. Services to celebrate Ginger’s life are being held on Monday, February 6th, at 11am at The Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona.
