His career of forty years in education allowed him to influence the lives of many young people and support colleagues in teaching and learning.
Bill enjoyed singing and performing, especially with the Barbershop Harmony Society. He liked fishing and was forever dreaming of the next big catch. Rescuing dogs, especially Greyhounds, was an important part of his life. His utmost pleasure was coaching his kids and grandkids in singing and in sports, especially ice hockey.
He is survived by his wife Sue, his daughter Katie, his son Kevin, his grandchildren Clare, Connor, and Chandler, and his sister Nancy and brother Stephen. He is also survived by other relatives and friends across the country, especially in Arizona and Massachusetts.
