Carroll W. David

CHAPIN - Funeral services for Carroll W. “Cowboy” David, 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014 at St. Jacobs Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Mr. David was born November 30, 1943 in Columbia, SC and passed away on December 4, 2014. He was a son of the late Eugene Sinclair David, Jr. and Annie Mae Hollis David. He was a member of the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church and worked in Construction as a Welder for 42 years. He loved to ride his Harley and loved his beloved pets, two dogs and four cats.

Mr. David is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jo A. David; sons, Joseph C. David (Sherry) and Christopher W. David; daughters, Tina Keen (Daryl) and Cynthia “Pooh” Thompson (John); grandsons, Daryl “D.J.” Keen, Jr., Remington Cox and Tristen Thompson; granddaughter, Dakota Cox; step grandchildren, Chase Ridgeway, Hunter Thompson, Lizzie Thompson and J.P. Thompson; sisters, Ann Hug and Becki Navarre; 2 sister-in-laws, 2 brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers, Edward “Sonny” David and Billy David.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like for you to feel free to dress casual for the service.
