We have to face that my dad is gone, but he will forever be in our hearts.  I will always have fond memories of going to the races, and a lot of beach trips.  Dad was from Staunton, Virginia and worked at Smith's Transfer in Verona, Va., Preston Trucking in Maryland, and retired at Southeastern Freight Lines in Columbia.  51 years working in the trucking industry in the offices.  He was a manager most of those years.  Dad loved working  in the trucking business. He had a loving wife Alice and so many friends.  He loved going to Thurmond, West, Va., where his grandparents lived.  We will keep our fond memories of dad forever and that will keep us going.   We love you dad "always".    The alzheimer's and parkinson's diseases are gone now and you put up a good fight.  Rest in peace.   Shawn

Shawn, Alice, Wayne and Denny, my sincere condolences on Frank's passing. Dad usually refers to him as Frankie as well, we told Dad about his passing and he was obviously moved. I remember many times we'd go visit Aunt Mary and Uncle Pete and then walk over to see Frank as well. May your memories of special times in the past help you through these days of sorrow.

Frank was my supervisor at Southeastern until I retired in 2014. He was a very fair and great guy to work with.  He always loved that drag racing and his old Plymouth.  Rest in peace brother Frank. God bless Alice and Shawn during this time.

My husband "Frankie" I always called him by this name.  Friends called him Frank.  He will be truly missed.  We would have been married 55 years in January.  We retired on the same day and year from our different jobs.  He loved cars especially the 1957 plymouth his grandfather left him.   For years he went to the races with his friends and son.  Frankie is in heaven and probably looking for a car.  Shawn and I  miss you every day.  With hugs and love.  Losing you is terrible grief.   Alice & Shawn
