Eleanor Meetze

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Eleanor Eargle Meetze, 82, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Bethel Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. The Rev. Roy Butler will conduct the services. Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice Care, 110 Ministry Drive, Irmo, SC 29063.

Mrs. Meetze was born December 1, 1932 in Richland County, SC and passed away on April 24, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Lewis Eargle and Evelyn Slice Eargle. Mrs. Meetze was co-owner of Pot Luck Green House.

Surviving are her daughters, Carol Farr (David), Jonnie Jones (Tracy); daughter-in-law, Sissie Meetze; sister-in-law, Rosmarie Wessinger; brother, Lee Eargle; grandchildren, Gary Bass (Wendy), Andrea Hubbard, Lisa Jaeger (Keith), Courtney Powell, Roger Farr, Casey Meetze, Megan Jones and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and sons, Dale and David Meetze.
