Jennifer Margaret Baker

Jennifer was born in Bedford, England on March 26, 1948. She later moved to the states when she married her husband of 49 years, Ret. MSGT. Jerry N. Baker, Jr. She enjoyed traveling the world, learning about different cultures, attending arts and crafts festivals and oftentimes participating in them. During her final months, she knitted many hats and scarves to give to her family as a remembrance of her, but most of all she enjoyed time with her family who meant the world to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Jessie Lovell of Bedford, England; father-in-law, Jerry Baker, Sr. of Hagerstown, MD; sisters, Patricia Hunt, Sheila Raymond and brother, Brian Lovell also of Bedford, England.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jerry N. Baker, Jr. of Chapin, SC; daughter, Tina Milstead (Shawn) of Etowah, NC; son, Jeremy Baker (Greta) of Chapin, SC; mother-in-law, Dorothy Baker of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Justin and Caden Baker of Chapin, SC, Shawn and Jessica Chandler of Pisgah Forest, NC and great-granddaughter, Kinslee O'Shields of Pisgah Forest, NC; sister, Valerie Healey of Bedford, England; brother, Anthony Lovell of Barnsley, England and many other family members in Maryland and England.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
