CHAPIN – Funeral services for Nell Cannon will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Miss Cannon was the daughter of Kathleen Bushardt and Virgil Lee Cannon. She was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church and a graduate of Columbia College and Georgia State University. She was an elementary school teacher for 34 years. Miss Cannon was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
Miss Cannon is survived by many cousins and friends. She was especially thankful for the help and care of Jesse and Jeanie Frick. The family would also like to thank Generations of Chapin and Blue Ridge Hospice.
