Ralph was a graduate of The University of Toledo with a degree in marketing. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglas for 40 years in sales, sales management and Sales training and Development. After retiring, he was affiliated with Insulate America, where he continued his love of Training.
He discovered his love of coaching when his son began playing baseball. He went on to coach his son in basketball and baseball, and both his daughters in softball and basketball. Between Missouri, Ohio and South Carolina, he influenced many other athletes both on the court and on the diamond. His passion was teaching, instilling confidence and providing opportunities to excel in athletics or business.
He was able to achieve his lifelong dream of living, lounging and boating on the water. He loved to teach his grandchildren about fishing and hoped one day to teach them to waterski. He and Carolyn loved to travel, and during their marriage they especially loved visiting Alaska, Banff and New Zealand.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and his children, Michael (Cathleen), Phoenix, AZ, Kerry (Tom), Franklin, TN, Deanna (William), Charlotte, NC
and 4 grandchildren.
