CHAPIN – Funeral services for Richard O. Carlton, 85, of Chapin, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Lowman Home with interment in Chapin Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Carlton was born in Jamison, SC on April 7, 1931 and passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was the son of the late Marion L. Carlton and Essie Godwin Carlton. He worked as an insurance agent and was a member of Chapin Ruritan.
Mr. Carlton is survived by his wife, Juanita Carlton; daughters, Lisa Carlton of Beaufort and Megan Carlton of Chapin; brother, Barry Carlton of Greenville, and numerous grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Kathryn Sharp and son, Marc Carlton.
