Roger Thomas Farr, 33, of Little Mountain, passed away on September 25, 2021. He was born in Columbia, SC on October 29, 1987. Roger was the son of James David and Carol Meetze Farr. Roger worked at Groucho’s Restaurant for 13 years, he was the manager at the Chapin Groucho’s since it opened. He loved fishing and never met a fish he couldn’t catch. He had a long hard fight with sarcoma.
He is survived by his parents, James David and Carol Farr; brother, Gary Bass; sister, Andrea Ricker (Steve) and numerous aunts, uncles, and family members. A special thanks to Aunt Ree.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery in White Rock. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. The family requests attendees wear casual or fishing attire, in memory of Roger. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chapin Bass Club, 416 Stucks Point Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
Pallbearers are Jesse Farr, Adam Slice, Will Anderson, Brent Shobert, Woody Cannon, Clay Riddle, Byron Benedict, and Rodney "Krowbar" Cromer. Honary pallbearers are Perry and Sheri Specht, Chapin Bass Club, and The Bass Federation of South Carolina, Night Trail.
