CHAPIN – Funeral services for Ruby Lee “Beebe” Bush Kodek, 84, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Chapin United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Chapin United Methodist Church, 415 Lexington Avenue, P.O. Box 237, Chapin, SC 29036.
Mrs. Kodek was born July 12, 1928 in Chapin, SC and passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013. She was a daughter of the late James Edward Bush and Sally Louise Stoudemire Bush. Mrs. Kodek was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Chapin High School and retired from Stone Manufacturing Company.
Mrs. Kodek is survived by her daughter, Linda Kodek Harlin; grandchildren, Austin (Mark) Shelley, Donald Crenshaw (Nicole Gauthier), Shaina Bermudez (Bob Wessinger) and Edward Harlin IV; step grandchildren, Scott Kodek, Jessika and Alan Harlin; great-grandchildren, Emilyanne, Micah and Ruby Shelley, Jake, Cade and David Lee Crenshaw.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Johnnie Joseph Kodek; brother, J. E. “Bub” Bush and step son, Jerry W. Kodek.
