Sandra Nyman

CHAPIN - Sandra Marie Nyman Age 57 went home to be with her Lord at 8:50pm on Friday November 24th, 2017 after a battle with ovarian cancer. Sandy will be greatly missed because of her positive personality and willingness to help people. She had a beautiful singing voice and participated in the voice and instrumental ministries at each church her journey took her too. She was also a bible school teacher of all ages depending on need. She worked in the Paper Industry for more than 32 years and was employed at the International Paper Eastover Mill at the time of her passing. Her career locations included Beloit WI, Mobile AL, Selma AL, Loveland OH, Texarkana TX, Shanghai China and Eastover SC. Sandy enjoyed sewing, gardening, waterskiing and various other sports. She enjoyed following the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers. Sandy is survived by her husband Gary Nyman, Chapin SC, parents Jane and Omar Baade, Albany WI, sister Gloria (Ron) Kretzer, Lakeland FL, brother Tim (Cindy) Baade, Roscoe IL, brother Scott (Laura) Baade, Brodhead WI and a lot of nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at two locations; Midlands Christian Church, Lexington SC Thursday November 30th, Visitation at 5:00pm and memorial service at 7:00pm. Footville Church of Christ, Footville WI, Saturday December 2nd, Visitation at 11:00am, Memorial services at 1:00pm with a reception following. Memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Care Ministry at Midlands Christian Church, 1312 W Main St, Lexington, SC 29072.
