Alexander “Alex” Quinn Gibson, age 12, died an accidental death at home on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Born September 29, 1999, in Charlotte, N.C., Alex was the beloved son of his father, Eric V. Gibson and mother, Debbie A. Mooney (deceased). Alex was an incredibly smart, funny, & loving young man -- he enriched the lives of his family, friends, and neighbors beyond measure, and in turn, leaves a wealth of rich and cherished memories.
Survivors include Alex’s half-brother, Mathias Mena, paternal grandfather, Billy V. Gibson and grandmother, Evelyn C. Gibson, and a host of loving relatives.
Visitation and reception will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Forest Lawn West followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service.
