I attended West Charlotte with Shane. Always a nice, all around happy guy. His shy, friendly smile will never be forgotten! I don’t think anyone could ever have a bad word to say about him. Glad we got back in touch through Facebook.
My sincere condolences to you all. No doubt he is missed terribly. Truly one of the good ones!

I've been reflecting on the many fond memories I have from my youth about Shane, Jason, Chip and Lynn and the farm.
My heart aches for Shane's family in the wake of his death and I pray they will soon find peace and solace.

Much love from the Watts family.

My weeping cherry tree bloomed last week. The cherry tree that I didn’t think I wanted but Shane said I needed. The blooms will forever remind me of Shane’s big smile and warm personality!! I’m glad it’s there..
To Chip and Lynne , our dear and longtime friends...we love you and are so so very sorry.

I can't describe the shock and disbelief John and I are feeling. I worked with Shane for years at Tarheel Bark, always called him "Boss Man." Thought a lot of him, always treated me with respect. Chip and Lynn, with heavy hearts, we are so sad this has happened. John also worked with Shane for a number of years and thought a lot of him. John, Shane, and several of the guys would go out to daily lunches together. Shane, aka "Boss Man" was a good person with a big heart and he truly enjoyed spending time with Travis.

Chip and Lynne, you and the Family are in our thoughts and prayers. I can't not imagine the loss. I remember Shane when he was managing the Bark Plant in Harrisburg and I would help out with my mom (Fredia). He was the best, he would always put a smile on your face. He was always a family man. I babysat for him many times when Travis was little. I was there when he got married. He felt like family. This was a total shock to many of us. Fly high Shane you will be deeply missed.
