Angel was aspiring electrician who loved gaming, going to the park with his son, watching the UFC with his friends and taking long walks with his dog.
Survivors includes his wife Llia Guevara; son, Max; mother, Norma Mercado; uncle, Jose Tapia (father figure) and his brother, Giovanni (Carolina) Tapia; nephews, John and Jacob Tapia; father, Alejandro Tapia, along with numerous relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Estelle Mercado.
A visitation for Angel will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. Funeral service 10:00 AM ur Saturday, March 15, 2025 in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
