Annette Raulerson

She was born on March 23, 1935, in New Castle, Indiana, to the late Juanita and Robert O. Van Winkle.

Annette was preceded in death by J.W., her husband of 49 years and their son Alan.

Annette's greatest accomplishment was raising five children. She loved to play the piano, talk about her days water skiing at Cypress Gardens and sit on her porch and hold her dog, Katie.

Survivors include sons, Jim (Linda) Raulerson, Mint Hill, NC, and Paul (Tanya) Raulerson; all of Mint Hill, NC; daughters Roxanne (Randy) Brewer, North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Stephanie (Bryant), Tega Cay, SC.; grandchildren, PJ, Jessica, Sarah, Megan, Mary, Madison, and three great grandchildren.

Her family will greet friends prior to her funeral mass which will be held at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish, 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte, NC, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC.

The family would like to express deep appreciation to her caregivers, Colee Covington and Melissa Myers as well as Hospice & Community Care of Rock Hill, SC.
